Title: You Don’t Have to Learn the Hard Way: Making It in the Real World: A Guide for Graduates

Author: J.R. Parrish

Life skills, there hasn’t been a book around that will just teach you the little things in life that truly help…things that you normally wouldn’t learn until you are much older. This book is a great addition to any teen or college age student, to prepare them for life.

Each chapter is broken down by basic things you will need in your future, how to deal with people which they call “human relations”. Great ideas in this chapter, as I have learned in life you can’t make all the mistakes in life yourself, you do have to learn from others at times! In each chapter will be little things to help you along the way, to continue to learn more and more about “life”.

Each chapter also gives you little quotes and things written in red, which helps to bring those points out in each of the chapters. It also gives you many different points to ponder in each of the chapters, not just one or two. If they are talking about human relations, it will give you mentors, dealing with other people, smiling, and first impressions. Each chapter is more and more life information…how to interview well, leaving first impressions,

This book is a must read for any senior in high school to college age student who wants to be different than the rest. This is one of those books to give to someone to read, and then pass it on! This is my own honest opinion!
